Obituary


Loyle Lowe, age 91 of Clinton, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was born on June 19, 1921 to the late McKinley and Josephine Cox Lowe in Campbell County, TN. Loyle served in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant in World War II, 464TH Coast Artillery Battalion for 3 years in Burma, China and India. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Campbell County, TN # 623. Loyle also managed and operated various service stations in three different states. He loved all and was loved by all. In addition to his parents, Loyle is preceded in death by wife of 54 years, Stella Taylor Lowe and brother, Homer Lowe.

Michael Lowe and wife Nancy of Clinton
Samuel Lowe and wife Lois of Clinton
Grandchildren..Kenneth A. Lowe, Renea Floyd, Michelle Bowling, David Michael Lowe, Elizabeth Hawkins and Samuel B. Lowe
Great Grandchildren..McKinley Lowe, Tyler Bowling, Logan Bowling, Conner Bowling, Andrew Lowe, Benjamin Lowe, Morgan Lowe, Dillon Hawkins and A.J. Hawkins.
The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Thursday, August 30, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with Rev. Stanley Hawkins and Pastor Rick Howard officiating. Loyle's interment will be held at the Raines Grove Cemetery on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 11:00AM.
