Lowell Van Jones, age 77, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at his residence. Lowell was a member of Second Baptist Church for 40 years. He retired from Y-12 as a machinist and owned and operated Complete Machine Company in Clinton Industrial Park until 2005. Preceded in death by parents, Russell and Mattie Jones; brothers, Norris and RC Jones; sisters, Betty Martin.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Friday, May 23, 2014 at Second Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow with the Rev. Mike Thompson officiating. His burial will be 10:00 am, Saturday at the Grandview Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Second Baptist Church, c/o The Joy Group, P.O.
