Loretta K. Powell, age 80 of Clinton passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center. She was a member of Moran Baptist Church. She was a beloved neighborhood grandmother who loved doing things for others. She also enjoyed cooking.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Powell; parents, Henry Clay & Anne Jane Barnes Kesterson; brothers, George, Leroy, Paul & Thomas Kesterson; sisters, Juanita Collins, Louise Kennedy.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 6-8PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral service following in the chapel with Rev. Kenneth Seeber & Rev. Donny Wallace officiating.

Interment will be Monday, March 8th at 11:00AM at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
