Linda J. Phillips, age 76 of Caryville, went home to be with the Lord February 19, 2020 surrounded by family after a lengthy illness.

She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Lawrence E. Phillips; father, Blake Neptune; mother, Stella Burgos; and brother, Robert Neptune.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Thomas N. Phillips; daughter, Sharon Ward (Hobart); son, Brian K. Phillips; brother, Kenneth Neptune; sister Dreama Burgos; Grandchildren, Brandon Ward (Tabitha), Joshua Ward (Whitney), Gabrielle Ward and Dan Schultz, and Dawson Phillips; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Graceson Ward; special friend, Jane Seiber; a host of other family and friends.

Linda will be remembered for her love and teaching little ones in Sunday School and VBS. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a born again believer in Christ Jesus. She will be missed by all who knew her. There is sadness on earth, but rejoicing in Heaven.

Linda's wishes were to be cremated and ashes placed beside her son in Phillips Family Cemetery. A memorial service will be held in her honor and memory on March 28, 2020 at 1:00pm at Fellowship Baptist Church, 110 Fellowship Lane, Caryville, TN 37714.
