Lillian (Cissy) Elizabeth Thomas Morris, age 76, went home to the Lord on July 22, 2025.

Cissy was a Veteran of the United States Navy and retired from the United States Postal Service. After retiring she enjoyed shopping, cross-stitching, and spending time with family.

She is preceded in death by her mom and dad, John and Lillian Morris; brothers, Johnny Morris and Frank Morris; brothers-in-law, Shorty McClure and Louis Koester.

She is survived by sisters, Susan Koester, Diana McClure, Teresa (Junior) Weaver, and Kathleen (Mike) Cantrell; brother, Wayne (Alba) Norris; sister-in-law, Gilda Morris. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Receiving of friends will be from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to meet at Holley Gamble Funeral Home at 9:15 am on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 where we will go in procession to Norris Memorial Gardens for a 10 am graveside service.

Pallbearers will be Mike Cantrell, Michael Cantrell, Joseph Cantrell, Danny McClure, Douglas McClure, Robert Kennedy, and Brandon Weaver.

In lieu of flowers, Cissy asked for donations to be made to Wounded Warrior Project or the Veterans charity of your choice.
