Lillian Ruth Dunaway Carroll, age 90, went to her heavenly home December 7, 2012, from Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Lillian was born and raised in Oak Ridge. She was a faithful member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Clinton for 66 years and was church clerk for 38 years. She also was devoted to mission work thru WMU Association. Lillian enjoyed sewing, embroidery, and canning vegetables that her husband, Goldman, grew. She loved and enjoyed all her great grandchildren. Lillian and Goldman participated in the Foster Children Program for many years and provided a loving home for children in need.
Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Goldman D. Carroll; parents, Wesley and Allie Dunaway; sisters and brother in-laws, Helen and Curwood Garrett, Allie Lee and Jack Gilbreath, Shirley and Cecil Brooks, Artie and Charlie Smith; brother in-law, Ace (Tom) and wife Evelyn Carroll.

Grandson: Sidney Fannon and fiancée Leslie Brown of White Pine, TN
Great grandchildren: Cole Fannon, Asher and Abby Henchcliff of White Pine, TN

Katelyn and Kallie Francis of NC
Sisters and brother in-laws: Jean and Billy Hutton of Bristol, VA
Georgia and Bill Osborne of Corryton, TN

The family will receive friends Sunday, December 9th from 1-2:30PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will begin at 2:30PM with Rev. Donnie Disney officiating.
