Lewis Mitchell, age 72 of Oak Ridge passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Norris Rehabilitation Center. He was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church and retired from Park & Recreation Department with City of Oak Ridge.
He was preceded in death by wife, Mildred Mitchell; parents, Charles Edward & Laura Mae Mitchell; brother, Phillip Mitchell.

Sons: Jerry Mitchell & wife Amanda from Andersonville, Lewis Max Mitchell & wife Nancy of Kingston, Lewis Max Mitchell & wife Nancy of Kingston, Ronald Edward Mitchell of Knoxville, Michael Robby Mitchell of Clinton
Daughter: Robin Myers of Powell; Grandchildren, Beau Allen Mitchell, Bradley Lewis Mitchell, Ashley Nicole Mitchell, Cody Alexander Mitchell, Michael Edward Mitchell, Joshua Richard Trevino, & Crishen Mitchell.
Brothers: Kenny Mitchell & wife Delores, Tommy Mitchell & wife Elsie, Blady Mitchell & wife Joan, David Mitchell; Sisters:Frances & Charles Wilson, Margaret Paul. Several nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 6-8pm at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 8:00pm in the chapel with Rev. Randy Comer officiating.
Interment will be Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 10:00am at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Clinton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
