Lewis Edward Chapman, age 67 of Caryville, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was born in Bell County, Kentucky on February 28, 1944 to the late Owen and Jennie Lee Chapman. Lewis was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Clinton. He was a God fearing man who loved the Lord. Lewis was also an avid outdoorsman who had a love for hunting, fishing, and traveling with his wife. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Lewis will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, Lewis is preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Grandchildren.................Marylyn Inman, Jessica and Jacob Burnette, BJ and Kaitlyn Payne
The family will receive friends at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 6-8PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with the Rev. Mike Thompson officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 9:15AM and go in funeral procession to the Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton for a 10:00 AM interment. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Second Baptist Church in Clinton, 777 Public Safety Lane, Clinton, Tn 37716 in memory of Ed Chapman.
