Obituary

Letta Lou Graham, age 100, of Clinton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, June 1, 2026. Letta was born on July 5, 1925, in Union County, Tennessee, to the late Gibson and Bessie Hill.

A woman of deep faith, Letta was a longtime member of Norris First Baptist Church, where she faithfully served the Lord and shared her love of music by singing in the church choir for many years. In her earlier years, she worked as a seamstress at Magnet Mills, a job that reflected the strong work ethic and attention to detail she carried throughout her life.

Letta found joy in the simple blessings of life. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, singing, and spending peaceful afternoons sitting on her back porch. Her greatest hobby, however, was tending to her flowers. She took immense pride in her flower beds and was well known for keeping a watchful eye on anyone helping with them, never hesitating to offer advice—or a gentle critique—if things were not being done quite to her standards.

Above all else, Letta treasured her family. She loved deeply and unconditionally and will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, caring sister, and faithful friend. Her kindness, strength, wisdom, and unwavering love for both her Lord and her family will leave a lasting legacy in the hearts of all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edgar "Jack" Graham; sisters, Gertrude Stokes, Retta Hickson, Georgia Cox, and June Hillon; brothers, Vaughn Hill, Carson Hill, and Billy Hill; and her grandson, Jerry C. "Chuck" Mounger.

She is survived by her daughters, Loujuana Wright & husband Frank and Patricia Jane Mounger & husband Jerry; grandchildren, Chris Wright & wife Penny, Eric Wright, Andy Mounger & wife Bethany, Jeremy Wright & wife Kelly, Stephen "Jake" Mounger & wife Nicole; great-grandchildren, Rebecca Powell & husband Caleb, Conner Wright, Gibson, Kinley, Gabriel, and Gwendolynn Mounger, Jack and George Wright; brother, Jack Hill; grand daughter-in-law, Melanie Mounger; along with several nieces and nephews.

Heartfelt thanks to the special friends who cared for her: Evelyn, Cindi, Alina, Chelsea, Kassidy, Jennifer, and Valerie.

The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 pm, Friday, June 5, 2026, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow in the chapel with Rev. David Seiber officiating. Her graveside will immediately follow her funeral service at Woodhaven Memorial Garden.  Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.  Holleygamble.com
