Leonard Copeland, age 67 of Caryville, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Lafollette Medical Center. He was born on May 11, 1948 to the late Staley and Florence Taylor Copeland in Lafollette. He was a loving husband, Daddy, and Papaw. Leonard was also a member and deacon at Ridgeview Baptist Church. His family and church were his life. He also enjoyed being outside working in his yard. In addition to his parents Leonard is preceded in death by wife of 45 years, Judy Copeland; brother, Harold Copeland; sisters, Carolyn Copeland and Wilma Jean Brooks.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Rocky Top on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 6-8pm with the funeral service to follow at 8pm with the Rev. David Walker and Rev. Roy Hammock officiating. Family and friends wishing to attend the graveside service will meet at the funeral home on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 12:30pm and will go in funeral procession to the Ridgeview Baptist Church Cemetery for an 1:00pm interment. www.holleygamble.com
