Lelia Smiddy, age 69 of Caryville, passed away on December 7, 2017 at her residence. She was born on December 7, 1948 to the late Finley and Nancy McGhee Cross in Stoney Fork, TN. She had a degree in college and worked at the Corner Drug as a Pharmacy Technician for many years.  She was a beloved member of Mount Paran Baptist Church and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters, Reba North, and Yvonne Cross.

She is survived by: children, Kevin James Smiddy, Jessica Leatrice Smith and Husband Rick; grandchildren, Jesse Rhodes Smith, Eli Smiddy, and Riley Garrett Smith; Brothers, Chester Cross; Sisters, Linda Bean (Twin), Margaret Hughes, Jewell Tackett, Pasty Price, Pauline Ward; Nieces, Geneva Perkins, Sandra Spieldman.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 12-2pm followed by a graveside service at Campbell Memorial Garden with Pastor Ron Williams officiating. www.holleygamble.com
