Leah Byrge Gray, age 85, of Clinton, went to be with the Lord and Savior on March 6, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Mike and Bessie Byrge. She was a member of Farmers Grove Baptist Church and sang in the church choir until she became unable. She worked as a CNA at Ft. Sanders Hospital and Naveh Convalescent Home. She also worked as a home nurse and in sales and restaurant work. She loved working crossword puzzles and reading. Preceded in death by husband, Hayes Gray; step son, Robert Allen Gray; sisters, Viola Byrge, Faye Strunk, and Margie Chambers; brothers, Kelly, Pearly, Jessie, and Cecil Byrge.

She leaves behind:
Host of nieces and nephews; a very special couple Marilyn and Bill Collins; and also leaves behind a great church family and a host of relatives and friends .

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Tom Byrge and Everett Byrge officiating. Her graveside will be 11:00 am, Monday at Farmers Grove Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers make donations to Farmers Grove Baptist Church.
