Laura Annette Melton, age 60 of Clinton, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center. She was a member of Hillvale Baptist Church. She was a very loving wife, mother & sister and an outgoing person, who never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Edna Braden Queener.
Survivors: Husband of 34 years: David Melton of Clinton;
Son, John Melton & wife Marcy of Oneida; Brothers, Eddie Queener & wife Lynell of Clinton, Jimmy Queener & wife Freddie of Dutch Valley, David Queener & wife Glenda of Dutch Valley;
Brother-in-law: Roger Melton & wife Juanita of Clinton; Sister-in-law, Glenda Boyd & husband Donald of Knoxville; Several nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 11, 2010 from 6-8p.m. at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 8:00p.m. with Rev. Jason Berry officiating.
Graveside services will be Saturday, June 12th at 10:00a.m. at Norris Memorial Gardens. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
