Lassie Odessia LaPole, age 91 of Rocky Top, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at her residence. She was born on February 13, 1925 to the late Otis Sprankles and Maggie Massengill in Anderson County. She retired from General Motors in Dayton, OH. She was a fun loving person who enjoyed fishing, hunting, working in flowers, and taking long walks in the outdoors. She will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Billy LaPole; brother, John Sprankles; and sister, Mamie Knight.
