Larry K. Egner, age 77, of Clinton, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Morning Pointe Assisted Living after a lengthy illness of Alzheimer's surrounded by family and friends. Larry was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church in Clinton and retired from X-10 as a metallurgical technologist after 44 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Naval Reserves. Larry loved his volunteer work at Methodist Medical Center. Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Wynona Egner.

He is survived by:

Granddaughter.............. Katie Daugherty & husband Casey of Clinton
Step Grandsons......... Brian Koelsch & wife Crystal and their children, Austin, Aiden, & Esther
David Koelsch & wife Peggy and their children, John and Kevin
Special daughter.......... Alfie Rodriquez

The family would like to thank Morning Pointe Assisted Living for their loving care given to Larry during his illness.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Friday, February 7, 2014 at First Baptist Church with funeral services to follow with Rev. Stan Elliott officiating. Friends and family will meet at 2:30 pm, Saturday and go in procession to Grandview Memorial Garden for a 3:00 pm graveside service.
