Landy Marvin Clemons was born on October 25th, 1956, and passed away peacefully on October 12th, 2024. Landy was 67 years of age.

Landy is survived by his daughter, Jessica Foster, and her husband, Matt, along with his son, Jordan Clemons, and his wife, Taylor. His grandchildren are Jean Louise Foster and Ollie Reed Clemons. He is also survived by his brother, Steve Clemons, and his wife, Liz. His sister, Cindy Ruth Clemons, and several loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

Landy was a child of God saved by grace through faith. He was welcomed into Heaven by our Father, the creator of boundless, steadfast love and unmerited mercy. Thanks be to our gracious God for the miracle of love and the power of forgiveness. Landy enjoyed serving others in the community by sharing his barber skills, volunteering for church activities, and coaching sports. He was competitive in spirit and contagious in his laughter. He loved to cook home-made biscuits and gravy, play golf, eat chili cheese Fritos, sing classic country music, and bake in the sun without a drop of sunscreen. Landy was known for being generous, smart, and hard-working. He and his laughter will be deeply missed but we are grateful to know he is at peace in the everlasting light of Heaven… without any need for sunscreen.

Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories at the Foster home on Monday, October 14th from 6-8PM located at 113 Christin Drive, Clinton, TN.  The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 15th at 11AM at Highland Memorial Cemetery located at 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN.
