Kyle Baker, age 60 of Lake City, was called away from his residence to be with the Lord on Friday, April 16, 2010. Kyle was born on October 22, 1949 to the late Wallace and Mable Baker. He was a member of the Ridgeview Baptist Church. Kyle was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, family member and friend. Most importantly, he was a dedicated Christian. He devoted his life not only to his family, but to God, serving the Lord through preaching, teaching, and witnessing. Kyle was a self employed carpenter by trade with a passion for deer hunting.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother. Roscoe Baker; one sister, Ruth Baker Payne and a special mother-in-law, Fannie Baker.

The family will receive friends at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 4-6PM with the funeral service to follow at 6:00PM with the Rev. Alvis Richardson and Dwane Byrd officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 10:30AM and go in funeral procession to the Ridgeview Baptist Church Cemetery for a 11:00AM graveside service.
