Kimberly Bailey McClanahan went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 30, 2014.
Kim is survived by her loving husband of twenty-five years, Don McClanahan, and children, Tucker, Bailey and Griffin McClanahan. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Albert and Gail Bailey.
Kim was a graduate of Powell High School and the University of Tennessee. With a degree in journalism, she pursued a career in communications and public relations, working at DeRoyal Industries, Harb and Goldstein, and Bechtel. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her children and caring for her family and friends. Kim was witty, fun loving, loyal and an overall joy to encounter. Those who knew her loved her and never failed to leave with a smile. She was an encourager and a cheerleader and always made you feel important.
There will be a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Sevier Heights Baptist Church. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Kim's life.
