Kennie Wayne Boling, age 84 of Claxton, TN passed away on November 25, 2015 at Parkwest Hospital. He was born July 4, 1931 in Knoxville TN to the late Kenneth Eldridge Boling and Mildred Pauline Prater Boling. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marie Swaggerty Boling. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in the Korean War. Following the Naval Service, he took Metallurgical Classes at the University of Tennessee and then went to work at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He retired as a design engineer from the Mechanical Properties Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Y-12 and K-25.
