Kenneth Hillard Weaver, age 92 of Powell, passed away peacefully at his home into the arms of our savior, Jesus Christ, on August 23, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Eva Weaver; wives, Mary Weaver (1994) and Edith Weaver (2011); sister, Mae Wright; brothers, Wheeler and B.J. Weaver.
He is survived by sons, Kenneth Weaver, Jr. and wife Joan of Clinton, TN, Jon Weaver of San Francisco, CA; daughters, Patricia Franklin and husband James of Powell, TN, Benita Collins of Dandridge, TN and Trudy Byrd of Knoxville, TN; brother, James Weaver of Powell, TN; sister, Charlene Butcher of Heiskell, TN; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, one great, great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 25th from 6-8 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Melvin Myers officiating. Graveside service will be Wednesday, August 26th at 11:00 AM at New Loyston Memorial Gardens in Union County. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamble.com
