Kenneth F. Jenkins, age 74, of Knoxville, lost his battle with lung cancer and died peacefully at home on October 14, 2010. Ken served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from TN Roofing. He was preceded in death by parents George and Molly; brothers Jim, Jack, and Tommy Jenkins; sisters Evelyn Brooks, Peggy Smith, and Mary Underwood. He is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Elizabeth (Sis); children Lisa and husband Lawrence Tuck, Barry, Sherry, Shannon and wife Kim, Russell and wife Dawn; grandchildren Lance and Logan Tuck, Katie, Kent, Carrigan, and Hunter Jenkins; brother Bud Jenkins, and sister Betty Watson; sister-in-laws Pat and Joyce Jenkins; special friends Renee Repka and Emma Creveling; beloved nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends too many to mention.
Family will receive friends at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00pm with a funeral service to follow at 8:00pm. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 16, at 10:00am at the Riverview Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the U.T. Cancer Center.
