Kenneth Fritts, age 75 of Heiskell, passed away December 14, 2013 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 24, 1938 in Robertsville (Oak Ridge) to the late Carl Fritts, Sr. and Ophia Miller Fritts. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1956. He became the first employee for Oak Ridge Fire Department in 1960 and became the Captain of the department on December 25, 1967 and held the position until his retirement, January 1, 1992. He continued on with public service and became Anderson County Emergency Management Director and then worked with TEMA.
He was a Deacon and Sunday school teacher for Deep Springs Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 17th from 5-7 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Allen Giles officiating.
