Kelli Bree
Kent
Feb 23, 1997 — Jun 6, 2026
Clinton
Kelli Bree Kent, age 29, transitioned to her heavenly home on June 6, 2026. Kelli knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and her loved ones are comforted by the assurance that she was welcomed into His open arms.
Kelli graduated from Clinton High School in 2015. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Tennessee Technological University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2019. Kelli thrived in college, earning the Communications Department’s highest award upon graduation. While attending college, Kelli completed internships in the University’s Athletic Department and in the Congressional Office of the Third District of the State of Tennessee. She loved every moment spent at Tennessee Tech, and she treasured the friends she made there. Kelli made her professional career with Discovery, Inc., where she served as a Commercial Operations Specialist for the Food Network.
Kelli loved life. The beach was her happy place, where she could sit for hours reading the latest mystery novel. She was best known for her spontaneous sense of humor and her quick wit. She was never at a loss for words, and as a result, she captivated the room whenever she walked through any door. Her laughter and her smile were contagious. She was outgoing, kind and generous, and she loved to travel and create adventures. She was an avid Taylor Swift fan, and attended the tour for every album release. Kelli was always happiest when she was laughing and enjoying the company of those she loved.
Kelli will be forever missed by many friends and family including her parents, David and Melanie Kent; her brother, Tyler Kent and wife Rebekah, and their children Mackenzie and Reagan, who were Kelli’s greatest joy and who called her “Bean;” her grandmother, Blanche Miller; Uncles and Aunts, Mark and Kim Brown, and Doug and Lyvonne Kent, and their families, including special cousins, Emily Modlin and Molly Gretsch; and a host of extended family members and friends. Kelli was preceded in death by grandparents, Al Miller, and Ralph and Geraldine Kent.
Visitation and celebration of life services will be held at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton, TN on Friday, June 12. Visitation will be held from 6-7 pm. At 7 pm, friends and family will be invited to share memories in celebration of Kelli’s life and her love of laughter. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Memorial Park on Saturday, June 13, at 3 pm. Pastor Robert Melton will officiate both services. In lieu of flowers, Kelli’s family requests that donations be made in her memory to Milestone Church, 100 Gum Hollow Road, Oak Ridge, TN.
