Kathy Phillips, age 58 of Briceville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from her home. Kathy was born on November 15, 1951 in Anderson County, Tennessee to the late Ernest and Laverne Huckaby Rutherford. She was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. Kathy loved the outdoors. She enjoyed trips to the beach, camping and fishing. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

The family will receive friends at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 6-8PM. Kathy's funeral service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 11:00AM at the Beech Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenny Sharp and Rev. Steve Seiber officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Beech Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the Beech Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 1519 Beech Grove Lane, Lake City, Tn 37769. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City is in charge of all arrangements.
