Kathy Golden Dugger, age 55, of Lake City, peacefully passed away at home on Sunday, November 7, 2010, with her husband and children by her side after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She will be remembered for her ability to warm a room through her smile and infectious sense of humor. The passion of Kathy's life was her family especially her two grandsons, Stone "Little Man" and Luke, which she took great joy in spending every moment possible with. Throughout her life she loved gardening, yard work, decorating her home, cooking, and especially spending time with her family. Kathy was a member of Walden View Baptist Church and worked at Golden Girls Restaurant as a waitress for many years until her illness. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alma Bennett Golden and James Harve Golden.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Danny Ray Phillips and Rev. Randy Norton officiating. Friends and family will meet 10:30 am Wednesday, at the funeral home and in go in procession to Leach Cemetery for an 11:00 am graveside. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City is in charge of all arrangements.
