Kathleen Taylor, formerly of Clinton, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2011. Kathleen was born on January 9, 1927. For many years Kathleen was the cafeteria manager of Clinton Junior High School and a member of South Clinton Baptist Church. After retirement, she enjoyed piecing beautiful quilts and attending senior dances in Clinton and Oak Ridge. For the last 2 years of her life Kathleen resided at Summitt View of Farragut. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Summit View for the excellent care and love they showed to her. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Taylor; her parents, and nine brothers and sisters.

Kimberly Taylor of Philadelphia, PA
She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who affectionately referred to her as "Aunt Mac."


The family will receive friends 10:00-11:00 am, Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Family and friends will go in procession to Woodhaven Memorial Garden for a 11:30 am graveside service. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. holleygamblefh.com
