Kathie Ann
Vickers
Dec 3, 1957 — Jun 19, 2026
Clinton
Kathie Ann Vickers, age 68, of Clinton, Tennessee, passed away on June 19, 2026. She was born on December 3, 1957.
Kathie is survived by her daughter, Mandy (Jason) Taylor; her son, Gene Vickers; her sister, Rosie McFalls; and her brothers, Frankie and Johnny Ballard.
She was the proud Mamaw to her grandchildren, Aubrey, Autumn, Augustus, Michaela, Jacob, Austin (Tori), and Tre; her great-grandchildren, Karleigh, Cohen, Casen and Hardyn; nieces, Sarah(Nate) Shepard, Katie and Derrick Palmer; nephew, Jimmy McFalls; great niece, Olyve Grace and Kimerly; great nephews, Jase and Bentley.
She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Tippy.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joanne Wilkerson; her father, Franklin Ballard; her brother, Larry; her sisters, Marilyn and Diane; brother-in-law, Jim McFalls; and great niece, Rylee.
Kathie leaves behind loved ones all over Tennessee, West Virginia and Virginia who are mourning her loss, but rejoicing that she has finally made it home.
Kathie was affectionately known as “Mamaw” by her grandchildren. She loved to cook, drink coffee, and listen to worship music. One of her absolute favorite things to do was go shopping at Ross with her daughter, Mandy, after a hard day at dialysis or doctor appointments. She also adored spoiling her puppy, Tippy, frequently buying him new toys, shirts, and sweaters.
She was an avid player of Bubble Witch and had won thousands of levels before she passed.
More than anything, Kathie loved Jesus. You could often find her singing along to worship music playing from her phone. Through all of life's hardships, she never let go of Jesus, and Jesus never let go of her.
She regularly went out of her way to comfort strangers in difficult times and always lent a helping hand to those in need.
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9
A Celebration of Life is being planned, but dates are not finalized yet as we make sure all family and friends can attend. The family will announce details once they are finalized.
