Karen Doris Tilley, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the age of 67. She was born on April 19, 1957 to the late Sam and Thelma Reaves. She was a professed born again by the blood of Jesus Christ and present member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her love for the Lord, her kindness towards others, and for her unending love for her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Thelma Reaves. Brother, Kenny Reaves. Brothers-in-law, Claude Clapp and A.C. DeCosta.

She is survived by her husband, Carlos Tilley. Daughter, Kathy Golden and husband Gene. Daughter, Christine Rhea and husband Greg. Son, Wes Tilley and wife Shari. "Like a daughter", Lisa Elder and husband Tommy. Grandchildren, Katelyn Roberts and husband Blake, Kamryn Golden, Madelyn King and husband J.T., Kaitlyn Rhea, Brianna Rhea, Levi Rhea, Whitley Toler and husband Darrell, Isiah Tilley and wife Abby, Kendra Rogers and Taylor Rogers. Great Grandchildren, Grayson and Charley Kate Roberts. Sisters, Sharon Clapp and Nancy DeCosta. Sister-in-law, Liz Reaves, Cousin, John Meredith and wife Charlene. Along with many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home from 4 PM to 6 PM. A funeral service will follow with Reverend Bill Smith and Reverend Calvin Braden officiating. The family will meet at the funeral home on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 12:30 PM to go in procession for a graveside service at 1 PM at Norris Memorial Gardens.
