"Junebug" James W. Pruitt Jr., age 21, of Heiskell, blazed his own trail and left an unforgettable mark on all who knew him, departing this world far too soon on February 17, 2026. Born March 26, 2004, Junebug was a Sales Manager at Oak Ridge Nissan and graduated from Clinton High School in 2022.

Embodying a fearless, adventurous spirit and never hesitating to leap headfirst into new experiences and challenges. His energy was infectious, and he approached life with a daredevil's heart, always searching for excitement and never shying away from a thrill. Junebug believed that boundaries were meant to be pushed, and he inspired those around him to chase their dreams and embrace the unknown.

Junebug's journey was nothing short of extraordinary. Whether tearing up the trails on his motorcycle and dirt bike, seeking the next big catch on the water, or on his new adventure of golf alongside his brother, Jaden, and Uncle Scotty, he made every moment count. Their time together on the golf course was filled with laughter and memories that will be cherished forever. Junebug showed everyone what it meant to live life with passion, courage, and unbridled joy.

Junebug is survived by his parents, James & Dusty Pruitt of Clinton; fiancé, Sara Hammitt of Heiskell; siblings, Jaden Pruitt, Damien Mcilwain, Tootie Pruitt, Cheyenne Randall all of Clinton; grandparents, Lori Weaver & husband Scott of Clinton, Mike Pruitt & wife Jeanell of Auburndale, FL, Allen Power & wife Kathy of Auburndale, FL, and Pat Harp & husband Jim of Lake Wales, FL; God-brothers, Shawn Rizer and Anthony Ballard; uncles, Scotty, Cacey, Rodney, and Kodi; aunt, Rachel, fur babies, Tucker and Dutchess; along with several cousins and numerous friends he held close to his heart.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Following the visitation & services, a Celebration of Life will be held immediately after; the family invites everyone to continue celebrating and honoring Junebug's life at the Claxton Community Center.
