Judy Rose Duncan McCoy, age 69 of Rocky Top entered in the arms of Jesus August 29, 2025. She was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. Born February 23, 1956 to Reverend Willie and Ella Mae Sampsel Duncan. Judy was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She worked at Summit View Nursing Home in Rocky Top for 27 years where she met many lifelong friends. Her main goals in life were to serve God, be a good wife, and to love and nurture her three boys whom she loved unconditionally.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 37 years Danny Ray McCoy; Brothers, Otis and Clarence Duncan; Sisters, Wilma Elliott, Dora Faye Stewart, Verdie May, and Geneva Ann Duncan.

Left to mourn her passing are sons, Ricky, Christopher, and Jason (Brandi) McCoy. As well as Chris White of Jefferson City, Betty Toler, Becky Bridges, and Ruby Toler of Rocky Top. Donnie (Audrey) Duncan of Rocky Top, Larry Duncan (Lynette) of Knoxville. Grandchildren, Dustin McCoy (Kaitlyn) of Knoxville, Brooklin, Tinsley, Brenna, and Bradlynn McCoy of Rocky Top.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025 from 6-8 PM at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with a funeral service to follow. A graveside service will be at 12 noon on Thursday, September 4th, 2025 at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery in Rocky Top, TN.
