Judith Rose Burton Rose, age 63 of Clinton, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 9, 2011.

She was born in Bluefield, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Rev. E. C. and Mary Ann Burton. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by one daughter, Patricia K. Hicks.

Survivors include her loving, caring husband of 42 years, Everett Rose; brother, Joe Burton of Florida; sister, Jane Lee Stinson of Rocky Gap, VA; son, Larry Goodman of Oak Ridge; daughter, Melissa Wells; grandchildren, Brent Loy, Bethany Riggs, Christopher Hicks & James Wells all of Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Taylor Hicks, Skylah Riggs & Nathan Riggs all of Tennessee. Her extended family of in-laws, Goldie & Ulysses Bell, Margaret Broyles, Betty & Noel Phillips, Marilyn & Oscar Morgan, Scotty & Betty Rose, Dolly & David Hambrick, Wanda & Donald Combs, Fred & Doneta Rose, Ed & Anita Myers & Johnny Rose. Judy was loved by many friends and family. Her loving smile and boisterous laughter will be missed by all.

Pallbearers will be James Wells, Chris Hicks, Brent Loy, Tyson White, Mike Alley & Wayne Schmidt.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 5-7PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 13th at 1:00PM in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Ivey officiating. Graveside services will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
