Juanita Lowe, age 74 of Caryville, TN passed away on the morning of February, 9th 2012 after suffering from a month-long illness. She was born December 18th, 1937 in Jackson, TN She attended Westover High School near Jackson, TN and married Robert Lowe in 1954. She lived in Etowah and Fountain City, TN before moving to Caryville, TN. She was married to Robert Lowe in the residence of Henry R. "Fuzz" Asbury and Sister-In-Law Louise Asbury in Caryville, TN. She was a Homemaker who provided for her children and doted on her grandchildren. She attended Caryville United Methodist Church for many years where she worked with Summer Bible School. She was a member of the Caryville Community Homemaker's Club. Shopping with Sister-In-Laws Louise and Yvonne was always an adventure. Taking long drives with her children to visit grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins in West Tennessee was a yearly ritual and she was an avid fan when it came to watching her children playing sports or Lady Vols Basketball. She enjoyed baking cookies and cupcakes, watching movies and playing games with her grandchildren and loved long conversations on the telephone with her brother Wayne and sister Yvonne. Most of all, she enjoyed meeting new people and sharing conversation with them. She was a joy to the world that will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by Husband Robert B. Lowe, her Father Cokie Jefferson Haley, her Mother Flora Ima Haley and Brother Robert Lee Haley.
She is survived by Son Michael Dale Lowe of Powell, TN, Daughter Lynnette Lowe Carter of Gray, TN, Son Lee Wayne Lowe of Powell, TN, Brother Wayne Haley of Linden, TN, Sister Yvonne Pebley of Caryville, TN, Uncle Thomas Hopper of Jackson, TN, Aunt Mary Nell Muzzall of Mansfield, TN, Grandchildren Jessica Marie Lowe, Emily Michelle Lowe, Haley Catherine Carter, Carter Lee Lowe, and Shelton Ann Lowe. Pall Bearers are Kyle Asbury, Walter Asbury, Patrick Pebley, Carter Lowe, and Rusty Fields.
The Family will receive from twelve noon to two o'clock with a funeral service following on Saturday, February 11th, 2012 at Holly-Gamble Funeral Home at Lake City, TN.
