Joyce Housley, age 81, of Norris, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at her home. She was born in Raleigh, NC to the late James and Cora Roberts Pointer on December 14, 1937. Joyce was a member of the Norris First Baptist Church since 1951. She spent her life taking care of others and enjoyed tending to her flowers, needle point and puzzle books. In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by husband, Carl Housley; children, 3 infant sons, Karen Sue Bailey and Tena Jean Housley; siblings, Herschel Pointer and Brenda Lee Wilson.
