Joyce A. Elkins, age 74 of Andersonville, entered Heaven on June 27, 2013. She was a loving wife of Rev. Lowell F. Elkins and a loving mother to their son, Dr. Michael R. Elkins and a nephew, David B. Humphrey and a niece, Becky Worthington Dodson whom she loved like her own. Mrs. Elkins was the daughter and only child of the late Roy H. and Annette W. Stooksbury who went to Heaven in 1986 and 2010. Joyce was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church. In addition to being a loving preacher's wife and mother, she collected crystal, cherished her rooster artifacts, worked crossword/find a word puzzles, enjoyed the fine art of shopping, frequently sent personal greeting cards and appreciated earrings. The Elkins family would like to thank everyone who encouraged and helped during Joyce's compromised health experience.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 29th from 6-8PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Charles Harness and Rev. David Phillips officiating. Graveside service will be Sunday, June 30th at 2:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
