Joseph "Joe" King, age 59, of Rockwood, formerly of Sevierville, passed suddenly on July 12 th , 2019 at Signature Healthcare and Rehab of Rockwood after a prolonged illness. He was born in Gatlinburg, TN. He was a master framer of fine art at both Jim Grey and Robert A. Tino art galleries. He was an avid fly fisherman, and a lover of classic seventies rock. He enjoyed tying his own flies for fishing, and building things with his hands. He was preceded in death by his mother: Willa K. King; his brother and sisters: Arthur Glenn King, Jr., Debra F. McCarter, and Linda Jo King Barnes McMahan.
He is survived by his children, Carrie Elizabeth King of Oak Ridge, TN, Ryan Andrew King of Kodak, TN, and Leann Leeper of Jefferson City, TN; as well as four grandchildren, Emmet White, Emily Weiss, Levi King, and Jackson Hutson. He is also survived by his father, Arthur Glenn King, Sr. and his brothers and sister, Bill King, Michael King, Vic King, Marc King, and Brittany Vickery.
A memorial service will be held at the Crossing Church in Kodak, TN at 7 o'clock in the evening, Friday, July 26 th , 2019.
