John Hembree, Jr. age 95 of Andersonville, formerly of Lafollette, passed away on June 17, 2016 at the Tennova Residential Hospice in Knoxville. He was born on March 4, 1921 to the late John and Tennie Hembree in Campbell County. Mr. Hembree was of the Baptist faith and was a decorated veteran of World War II. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Housley Hembree.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Rocky Top on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 10-11am with the funeral service to follow at 11am with the Rev.
