Joe M. Wright, age 82, of Lake City passed away on Monday October 7, 2013 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge surrounded by his family. Joe was born on January 21, 1931 in Lake City, Tennessee to the late Dennis and Annie Mowery Wright. When Joe was a young man he was saved at the Fratersville Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to Summit View Nursing Home and attending the church services and singings. Joe enjoyed spending time with his family and will be dearly missed. In addition to his parents, Joe is preceded in death by siblings, Pauline Wright, George M. Wright, Janie Queener, Earl Wright, Ruth Pyles and Gladys Ault. Great Nephew, Cody Craig and Special Great Niece, Tiffany Braden.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 12-2PM with the funeral service to follow at 2:00PM with his cousin, friend and pastor, Rev.
