Joe Edgar Thomas, age 69, of Pigeon Forge passed away July 26, 2015 at Ft. Sanders Regional. Joe was a veteran on the United States Army having worked with the homeless at Lost Sheep Ministries, KARM, and volunteered with Remote Area Medical. Joe was a motorcycle enthusiast that had a heart in helping people in need. He loved serving the Lord and was a loving husband, father, brother and friend and will deeply be missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by parents, Harvey Thomas and Delia Mae King; sister, Beverly Williams, brother, Lee Thomas.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services to follow in the chapel with Rev. John Price & Pastor Joel Arwood officiating. His burial will be 11:00 am, Wednesday at Oak Ridge Memorial Park with full military honors at graveside.
