Joe G. Mowery, age 79, of Heiskell passed away Monday, October 11, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Mr. Mowery leaves behind wife, Helen Mowery; two sons, Kenneth Mowery and wife Laura and Billy Joe Mowery; four daughters, Diane Coapman, Lisa Mowery, Pam Carden, and Melissa Goodman and husband Jason; brothers, Henry and Charlie Mowery; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 6-8:00PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kenneth Seeber officiating. Graveside service will be Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 11:00AM at Anderson Memorial Gardens in Clinton.
