Joan Gail Williams, age 79 of Andersonville, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Norris Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on April 30, 1939 to the late Hubert and Eva King Sims in Knoxville, TN. She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. Joan was a mother to all and loved her family dearly. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Williams; daughter, Wilma Williams; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two brothers, one sister, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Her graveside service will be on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 4:30pm at the Piney Grove Baptist church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. www.holleygamble.com
