Jimmy Jay Anglin, age 66, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.  He was a faithful member of Springhill Missionary Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by grandparents Curt & Myrtle Via and stepfather Kenneth Koker.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Anglin; his devoted mother, Faith Koker; sister, Kay Simpson & husband Hal; son, Daniel Anglin; step-sons, James Maples & wife Amy and Jason Maples & wife Chastity; grandchildren, Katlynn Sise & husband Dylan, Lexi Maples & fiancé Jared Wright, Tyler Maples, Danny Anglin, Buddy & Natalie Maples, and Addie Maples; great-grandchildren, Rylan Cox, Aliviah Sise, Charlee Wright, and Colter Maples; special brother-in-law, Robert Sands & wife Julie; lifelong friends, Fred Fritts, Ben Stewart, and David Wilkerson & wife Melanie; special friend whom he thought of as a son, Josh Hale.

Jay made such an impact on everyone who knew him.  He will be greatly missed, and his love will survive in the hearts of all those he touched.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm, Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow.
