Jessie E. Shepherd, age 93, of Clinton, went home to be with the Lord on July 22, 2013 at Golden Living Center. She was a member of North Clinton Baptist Church and a former member of Second Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, excellent seamstress, enjoyed working cross word puzzles, gardening and laughing with family and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Eliza Jane Wilson; husband Harvey Shepherd; brother, Jasper Wilson; sisters, Bertha Wilson, Lillie Wilson, Bedie Cooper, Ina Human, Anna Adkins, Thelma Redmon, Gatha Courtney, and Violet Ivey.
She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends
