It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jesse Winston Baker, who went to be with the Lord on August 19, 2025, at the age of 68.

Jesse was born in Varnell, Georgia, and later moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, in 2005. Though he made his home in Tennessee, he never lost his lifelong passion for the Georgia Bulldogs.

He dedicated many years of his life to a long and successful career with Home Depot. Outside of work, Jesse enjoyed simple joys—playing fantasy football, cheering on his favorite teams, and watching game shows.

Jesse was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Clarice Baker; and his parents, Cora Jeffers and Clarence Lee Baker. He is also preceded in death by several of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by a number of his siblings, who will continue to cherish his memory.

He is survived as well by his loving daughter, Andrea Bishop; his son, Curtis Boyd; and his six cherished grandchildren: Andrew Bishop, Cayden Bishop, Colby Bishop, Emma Boyd, Ean Boyd, and Chloe Boyd.

Jesse will be remembered for his warmth, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed but his memory will live on in all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home, 621 S. Charles G. Seivers Blvd in Clinton from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
