Rev. Jeryl Barnette, age 44, of Briceville went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 4, 2012 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was born on June 12, 1967 in Knox County, TN. Jeryl was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He pastored the Briceville Church of God for 18 years, where he loved his church family. Jeryl enjoyed hunting, fishing, ginsenging and gardening. He also was a veteran of the United States Army. Jeryl is preceded in death by grandparents, Fred and Eula Vaughn.

The family will receive friends at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 6-8PM and on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 12-1PM at the Briceville Church of God with his funeral to follow with Rev.
