Fletcher Jerome (Jerry) Hamilton, age 73 of Clinton, passed away November 7, 2014 at Methodist Medical Center. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and the Oak Ridge Elks Club. He worked for 35 years in the security department of Y-12 as a supervisor until his retirement. Jerry was an avid fisherman and loved spending time on the lake. He enjoyed working on old cars and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He enjoyed life and passing on his love for the above to his children and grandchildren. "We will miss you Poppy".
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenmore and Ernestine Hamilton; sisters, Sue Hamilton Patton and Joyce Glenda Anderson Hill.

Daughter: Angela Hamilton Cox
Sister: Shirldine Dawes and husband Richard of Colorado
Grandchildren: Lance B. Hamilton, Cade and Corbin Cox

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Antioch Baptist Church in remembrance of Jerry.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 10th , from 5-7PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. A memorial service will follow with Rev. Kenneth Seeber and Rev. Marty Stooksbury officiating. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
