Jeanette Miller, age 86, of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Jeanette was born on August 29, 1939, in Anderson County to the late Everett and Maurine Foust.

Jeanette was a faithful member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. From an early age, she accepted the Lord as her Savior and faithfully served Him throughout her life. Her strong faith was the foundation of who she was, and she carried that love and kindness into every life she touched.

Jeanette retired from Lawson McGhee Library after 38 years of dedicated service. She truly loved her work and treasured the friendships and memories she made throughout the years. Her caring spirit and gentle heart left a lasting impression on those who knew her.

Throughout her life, Jeanette found joy in the simple blessings around her. She loved birdwatching, tending her flowers, and enjoying the beauty of God's creation. However, the greatest joy of her life was the time she spent with her family, especially her son and grandsons, who meant the world to her. She cherished every moment shared with them and created countless memories that will forever be held close to their hearts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl Foust and wife Pat, and Kenneth Foust and wife Barbara, and by nieces Donna Hunsucker and Julie Richie; along with several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Elisha (Junior) Miller; son, Ken Miller and wife Dina; grandsons, Blake Miller, Bo Miller, and Gunner Miller; brothers-in-law, Darrell Miller & wife Jeanette and Ricky Miller and wife Christie; sister-in-law, Debbie Crabtree & husband Tim.

The family will have a 1:00 pm graveside service on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Norris Memorial Garden. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.  Holleygamble.com
