Mrs. Jean Melton McAmis, age 74, passed away October 18, 2010 at Golden Living Center-Windwood in Clinton. She was a member of The Church of Christ. She loved music and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack McAmis; parents, John and Ruth Hembree; sister, Jenny.

She is survived by sons, Tim Melton, David Melton and wife Teresa; daughter, Marilyn Moore; grandchildren, Jason and Carmen Melton, Corey Moore, and Crissy Beatty.

The family will have a graveside service on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 1:30PM at the E.T. State Veterans Cemetery, 5901 Lyons View Pike, Knoxville, TN. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is charge of the arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
