J.B. Langley

J.B. Langley, age 86 of the Batley Community passed away Wednesday afternoon at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge after a lengthy illness. He worked most of his life as an auto mechanic and maintenance mechanic.
He served in the US Navy during WW II on the ship USS Marathon.
He was preceded in death by his parents: James Floyd and Ella Liles Langley. Two sisters: Juanita Henry and Lorita Largent. A half sister: Vernie Campbell.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years: Mary Ellen Langley.
Son and daughter in-law: Kerry and Nancy Langley of Oliver Springs.
Daughter and son in-law: Genny and Harold Bunch of New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
Daughter: Anna Petty of Batley.
Son and daughter in-law: Nathan and Melessia Langley of Wartburg.
Son and daughter in-law: Herman and Kimberly Langley of Murfreesboro.
Daughter and son in-law: Melissa and Brent Webb of Oak Ridge.
17 grand children and 24 great grand children.
There will be a grave side service for family only.
