Janie Martin Disney, age 82 of Rocky Top, TN passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was born in Lake City , TN on January 17, 1933 to the late Alvin and Jeanette Brogan Martin. Janie was a very active and lifetime member of the Clear Branch Baptist Church where she loved the Lord and her church family. She also loved gardening and working in her flowers. Janie will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, Janie is preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Susan Golden Brogan and Thomas and Ella

Parks Martin.

The family would like to give special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Methodist Medical Center and Fresenius Dialysis Clinic in Oak Ridge for all the care and compassion they gave to Janie.
Also a special thanks to the Medford Volunteer Fire Department for always being there to help Arnold and Janie throughout the years.

The family will receive friends on Friday March 6, 2015 from 12Noon till 2:00PM at the Clear Branch Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at 2:00PM with the Rev. Randy Norton, Rev. Lynn Mowery and Rev. Larry Webster officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton.
