Janice Ann Wallace, born May 15, 1952 has become one of God's special angels.
Mom passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 8:35pm. Mom fought daily for her last months of her life here on earth with ALS. Mom was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Carey and father, James Carey. Mom was wed to her loving husband Arnold Wallace on November 8, 1968 and was deeply in love with Dad everyday through all the ups and downs in their life together.
Mom is survived by her sons, Joe (Shanna) Wallace and Jason (Jennifer) Wallace; grandchildren, Taylor Venner, Bethany Wallace, Seth Wallace, Nataleigh Wallace and Emily Wallace. Mom was very devoted to her grandchildren that she referred to as he Babies. Each of them will always remember the love their mamaw had for them.
Mom had many caregivers during her remaining time. Her most devoted caregivers were her husband Arnold, sisters-in-law, Peggy Ford and Lesa Dalton. Mom has four very close sisters, Donna Dyer, Brenda Hickman, Vickie Weber, Kim Lovell and brother, James "Jimmy" Carey.
Family and friends will meet Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 6-8 at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 11:00am on Wednesday, June 27th at Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
